Join the Crick's mentoring facilitator, Alexis Hutson, who will give you an introduction to the development model of mentoring to help you get the most from your mentoring relationship. CrickConnect Manager George Pyrgos will also talk you through how to use our mentoring platform to find and approach a mentor who can support you.

The workshop is participatory and focussed on developing techniques, learning best practice and discussing the opportunities and challenges of being in a mentoring relationship, as well as networking with other people in the scheme.
As a result of this workshop, you will have a clearer understanding of:

• The nature of developmental mentoring and key behaviours.
• The roles of mentor / mentee and how to establish and manage expectations.

There is a short break half-way through the session.

Alexis Hutson has been coaching and mentoring people for over 10 years and has been running her own independent coaching & mentoring practice since 2009.
