At this careers talk, a former Crick researcher and a scientific consultant will share their knowledge and experience of careers in consulting, for anyone interested in making a similar move. 

Rakhee Chauhan was awarded a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology by Imperial College London, before joinging the Crick as a postdoc in Neil Macdonald's lab. She is now a Senior Analyst at Access Infinity in London.

Vanit Patel is a Senior Market Access Consultant at Access Infinity. For the past 5 years, he has developed revenue-optimising pricing strategies and managed a number of pricing, market access, market research and forecasting projects for leading pharmaceutical companies. Vanit graduated with a Master of Pharmacy degree and has experience working for the National Health Service.

They will speak about their own career paths, their current roles, the challenges and rewards of working in the sector, and any additional information that would be useful to scientists thinking about making a similar move.
