It's that time of the year when PhD applications are now... OPEN! 

We're currently recruiting talented and motivated individuals for our PhD Programme and Doctoral Clinical Fellow Programme. These are fully-funded, competitive positions benefiting from the world-class technical expertise available at the Crick, as well as the partner universities that students are registered with for the duration of their PhD.

  • The PhD programme is open to all graduates with biological or biomedical sciences, physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics or computer science backgrounds. The deadline is 12:00 midday (GMT) on 05 November 2025. 
  • The Doctoral Clinical Fellow programme provides an opportunity for clinicians to carry out biomedical discovery research leading to a PhD. The deadline is 12:00 midday (GMT) on 14 November 2025.

*If you previously joined us at the Crick on our Summer or Sandwich student programme, remember to reach out to your former supervisor/mentor or contact the Academic Training Team to gain help with your application and reference letter.*
