Jess has been with Cancer Research UK (CRUK) for over 3.5 years, with 2.5 of those being based in the Crick, first as a Major Gift Fundraiser and most recently as Acting Head of Philanthropy. During this time, she has built a strong fundraising programme, developed excellent donor relationships, and fostered close partnerships with the Crick and CRUK’s senior leadership and scientific community. Prior to CRUK, Jess led fundraising teams at UK charities, including Marie Curie, and in higher education in Australia at Edith Cowan University. With over 20 years of successful fundraising experience, Jess is a proven leader. In her new role, she will lead the Crick fundraising programme and team, and drive forward campaign planning developing a new Crick campaign and fundraising committee.
