The Crick Science Entrepreneur Network (CSEN) is excited to host their very first series of talks and panel discussions.
About this event
Crick Science Entrepreneur Network (CSEN):
Recently established early this year, CSEN works alongside The Francis Crick Institute Translation Team to promote and develop entrepreneurship within the scientific community. CSEN aims to bring together researchers at all career stages to learn about the translation and commercialisation potential of their research, and about how to get involved in innovation and startups in the life sciences area.
CSEN events will share the experiences and journeys of founders of academic spinout companies, or scientists who have transitioned to a career in innovation, venture capital or technology transfer.
About this event (time GMT):
16:00-17:00 Panel discussion
17:00-18:00 Networking session with panellist and attendees
Join us on December 1st for a hybrid panel discussion (see Covid-19 measurements below) with three inspiring panellists: Jason Mellad (StartCodon), Laura A. Lane (Advent Life Science) and Marc Moesser (Creator Fund). They will discuss their interest in emerging fields in biotech as investors, board members, or founders of accelerator programs.
If you ever wondered Which topics do biotech investors find really exciting at the moment? What are the current “hot” technologies in biotech and health tech? Are there any underexploited niches?
This event is for you! You will also have the opportunity to ask our speakers questions throughout the panel discussion.
This event will be hybrid, but we encourage everyone to show up in person to The Francis Crick Institute to take advantage of the networking opportunity following the panel discussion. Due to COVID , all attendees are required to specify their intention to attend in person and must comply with the COVID regulations set out below.
